Junior Brand Chef - Asian Concept

Kings Cross, London  |  £30,000 - £35,000

An exciting, chef driven Asian concept is growing its presence in London. The brand is apart of a well backed global food group with over 1000 sites across 14 different countries. Based at a high footfall site in Kings Cross - one of the city's busiest travel and retail hub. They are looking for a motivated and hands on Junior Chef to join our kitchen team and support daily operations as they expand.

The Role

This is a practical, hands-on role at the heart of a growing brand. Based full time in Kings Cross, you will support the Head Chef with daily kitchen production and ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations. You will work closely with the Head Chef to execute recipes with consistency and care, helping to maintain the quality and authenticity that defines the brand.

You will be responsible for practical kitchen tasks including frying, equipment handling and fresh daily production playing a key part in keeping the kitchen running efficiently and to standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day to day kitchen operations at a busy city centre site
  • Execute recipes consistently and to the Head Chef's specification
  • Handle practical kitchen tasks including frying, food prep, and equipment operation
  • Assist with daily fresh production, ensuring quality, shelf life, and food safety standards are met
  • Help maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
  • Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team as directed

About You

  • Some experience in a professional kitchen environment (Restaurant, QSR, or food production)
  • An interest in Asian cuisine, particularly Korean food
  • Comfortable with hands on practical kitchen work and early starts
  • A team player who takes direction well and is eager to learn
  • Organised and reliable  with a good understanding of food hygiene and safety
  • Ambitious and keen to develop your skills within a growing brand
